Workshops: IMPROVING LAW ENFORCEMENT - Abbreviated versions of 3 trainings done by and for the Lagrange Police Dept. INTERGENERATIONAL TRAUMA - Dr. Kelly Veal and Lagrange Housing Authority CEO, Zsa Zsa Heard, MS. TRACING OUR HERITAGE: What Happens When Descendants of Enslaved an Enslaver Meet? - A panel of three women linked by slavery and a 1912 lynching discuss their family's history and their newly found relationships. THE APOLOGY: Remembering, Acknowledging, Forgiving & Healing - A discussion of events preceding, surrounding, and following Lagrange Police Chief Lou Dekmar's historic apology for the 1940 lynching of Austin Callaway, presented in 3 panels. "ONCE UPON A TIME" - Annie Green will be present in the lobby to exhibit and discuss her latest collection along with her husband, Oliver, exhibiting selected photos of local churches.
