DESCRIPTION:Join us at the April Early Bird Breakfast as we shine the spotlight on tourism in Troup County and across Georgia with our speaker\, Kevin Langston\, Deputy Commissioner with the Georgia Department of Economic Development. We will also honor the 2017 recipients of the Tourism Visionary and Tourism Service Star awards.\n\n\n\nKevin Langston is deputy commissioner of economic development for tourism at the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD)\, the state's lead governmental organization for promoting\, marketing and supporting economic growth.\n\n\n\nIn his role as the leader of Georgia Tourism\, Kevin and his team work to position and sell Georgia as a top leisure travel destination. He oversees the product development\, business development\, regional and international staff\, and visitor information center teams\, and works with the Department's marketing and communications division to implement Georgia's tourism marketing program.\n\n\n\nMr. Langston returned to the tourism division in 2007 after serving in the agency's Global Commerce division as director of international operations\, managing the state's offices in ten locations around the world.\n\n\n\nPlease join Childress Dental Center for coffee and networking in the McLellan Parlor prior to the breakfast.
