DESCRIPTION:To conclude this special anniversary season\, the final concert will feature the premiere performance of the LaGrange Fanfare\, composed by the winner of the first LSO Composition Competition! This music will seek to capture the spirit and perhaps something of the history of our very own community. We continue with Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with pianist William Ransom and end our season with Dvorak's powerfully evocative New World Symphony.
