Join us for the Early Bird Breakfast on September 15, 2015, as we present the annual Valor Awards to recognize those who serve and protect our community every day.
The guest speaker will be SFC Maurice Raines #548, Post Commander for Georgia State Patrol Post -2 in LaGrange. SFC Raines is a 25 year veteran of the Georgia State Patrol and has served as Post Commander for three years.
In 2008, Raines made history as the youngest commissioner, and first African-American chairman, of the Upson County Board of Commissioners. He has served on the board of directors of Flint River Technical College, Habitat for Humanity, and the Red Cross.
