KREWE OF MASK 

FAMILY MARDI GRAS PARADE

  December 15, 2024, LaGrange, GA:

   LaGrange, GA will celebrate its annual Mardi Gras with a family-friendly parade.  People can catch “throws” such as beads, cups, and Frisbees in a wholesome environment.  

  Krewe of Mask, a local philanthropic organization, is assembling a parade that people of all ages should enjoy.  

  Thus, the upcoming Mardi Gras season in LaGrange now looks like this: 

  January 6, 2025:  Twelfth night - Official start of the season. This year’s party will be held at Nutwood Winery.

  February 22, 2025:  Krewe of Mask unveils the annual Family Mardi Gras parade in LaGrange.  A clockwise route will include parts of the traditional Christmas parade route and more.

 Tuesday, March 4, 2025:  Mardi Gras day - the official end of the season.  

 This parade is a unique opportunity.  There is a concerted effort being made to delight and entertain the crowds by bringing in a mixture of local units and extraordinary units that are usually not seen here.

 To encourage excellence, judging of floats, musical, and equestrian units will be done.  To encourage fun, tasteful costuming by spectators on the night of the parade is encouraged!
