LaGrange Mayor's Christmas Ball 2024

LaGrange Mayor Jim Arrington is hosting the 2nd annual Mayor’s Christmas Ball on Saturday, December 7th at Great Wolf Lodge. Proceeds from this event will go to the Willie T. Edmondson Memorial Scholarship Fund. This year's entertainment includes Singer/Songwriter Michael O’Brien and the local group Front Porch Collective. O’Brien has had three number-one hit singles and is best known as the former lead singer of the Georgia-based Christian group NewSong. Last year’s proceeds provided scholarships to four deserving young leaders in our community. Attendees are also encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to the event for the local Empty Stocking Fund. The toys will be given to Troup County children whose families may not have the means to provide a Christmas for them. A new tradition this year to help raise money is the addition of an online auction. Donated items will be auctioned off online, allowing even more people to get involved and contribute to the scholarship fund.
