Q1 March 2024: Safety Council
Join us for our first Safety Council meeting of 2024 at the Chamber at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13.
Our guest will be Robert Baldwin, Emergency Preparedness Director, District 4 Public Health. Robert has been immersed in the realm of Emergency Management and Preparedness since 2009, culminating in his attainment of a bachelor’s degree in Emergency Preparedness and Homeland Security in 2012.
Robert is an advocate for the fundamental importance of whole community emergency preparedness and response. In his capacity as a director, he recognizes that the efficacy of emergency preparedness hinges on the active involvement of all community members in the process.

The Troup County Safety Council's mission is to establish a cooperative effort to educate and influence people and the organizations they represent, thereby promoting a commitment to and ultimately accomplishing incident free operations.
