Our guest will be Paul Schlumper, P.E., CSP, Director, Safety, Health, Environmental Services (SHES) at Georgia Tech. We will discuss Changes in Safety and Health Management.
Mr. Paul Schlumper is the Director of the Safety, Health, and Environmental Services group within the Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute. He also serves as Program Manager for the Georgia Tech On-Site Safety and Health Consultation Program.
Mr. Schlumper has over 35 years’ experience working as a trainer and consultant in Occupational Safety and Health. As a member of the OSHA On-Site Safety and Health Consultation team, he has helped hundreds of facilities regarding safety and health management and compliance. He also helped establish and deliver courses as part of the OSHA Training Institute Education Center program. Courses delivered include the OTI 7505 Accident Investigation Course, Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding, Safety Management Systems, OSHA Recordkeeping, and General Industry Safety.
Mr. Schlumper is a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Georgia and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). Mr. Schlumper received a Bachelor in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
The Troup County Safety Council's mission is to establish a cooperative effort to educate and influence people and the organizations they represent, thereby promoting a commitment to and ultimately accomplishing incident free operations.
