Webinar: Managing Across Generations Leading a Multi-generational and Multicultural Workforce
Join us for the next in a series of human resources webinars presented in conjunction with the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Malone Workforce Solutions.
Join Emory professor Dr. Peter Topping as he explores the dynamics of managing and motivating a multigenerational and multicultural workforce. This webinar will focus on how managers can best connect with employees on an individual level to establish a crucial level of understanding. Further, the webinar will include interactive discussion on the dynamics of managing the needs and expectations of employees representing various age groups and a wide range of backgrounds, including:
- How to create a workplace environment that enables all employees to work at their fullest possible potential;
- How to work across genders, cultures, race, age and ethnicities;
- Why viewing the workplace environment as a "system" is important and how to implement systems thinking for better management;
- And how to identify the characteristics of the four generations that are currently in the workforce—Silents, Baby Boomers, Generation Xers, and Millennials—and how they are different and similar.
