Bootcamp for Supervisors

Bootcamp for Supervisors:  Teaching Managers to Avoid Litigation and Master Positive Employee Relations

The average employment lawsuit costs more than $100,000 to defend.  A union campaign complete with unfair labor practice charges is nearly as expensive.  And, the long term business cost of unmotivated and unproductive employees is even higher - potentially even bankruptcy.  Jonathan Martin will present an exciting and interactive seminar providing your supervisors with practical tips to avoid legal problems that affect employers today.

Your employees are your company’s single greatest assets – or it’s single greatest liability.  Where they fall depends on your supervisors.

Jonathan  is a partner with the national law firm - Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prohphete, LLP, and is a  nationally acclaimed speaker on preventive law issues, including avoiding liability under the National Labor Relations Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and harassment law suits.

Don't miss the opportunity to learn how increase your business' bottom line by avoiding unnecessary employment litigation and motivating your employees to succeed!

Topics Include:

•                  Understanding of basics of discrimination law (Title VII, ADEA, and ADA)

•                  Review of ADA Amendments Act and its impact on businesses

•                  An overview of an supervisor's obligations under the FMLA (even if FMLA is handled by HR or a third party)
